About us

Massage Therapy in North York

As our name suggests, we were originally a rehabilitation and physiotherapy center that offered a unique approach towards recovery and well being. We provide the best Physiotherapy North York to help you get relief from deformities, pain from injury, and restore your health to normal.

Now we’ve expanded to serve you better with a variety of services: everything from massage to yoga to pilates to weight loss to personal training to foot care.  What’s never changed is our approach. We focus on treating you as a whole person. We don’t  just treat symptoms.

No wonder we receive recommendations like this:

“I have been a client  since 2008 when half my face was paralyzed due to Bell’s Palsy. I was amazed with Shahla’s enthusiasm and expertise in designing a special treatment that consisted of massage therapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture, specifically for me. Each time I got excellent service and flexibility with my appointments. Although I had a little hope with my recovery, Shahla has continuously provided me with exceptional treatment which resulted in speedy recoveries. I would recommend Unique Rehab and Physiotherapy to anyone who seeks a great service from a caring team of specialists. ” – M. Azimi

We believe in creating long-term, optimal health with you. We focus on the causes, not the symptoms.

That’s why we’ll work with you on an in-depth look at your overall physical well being, lifestyle, activities, hobbies, habits and work situation.

Once familiar with these factors,  we’ll work with you on a treatment plan based on your needs. We’ll help you prevent re-injury. The result? You’ll be in the best possible health. Your choice for North York physiotherapy.

All of our programs and classes are based on these core principles. They draw on the diverse experience of our Clinic Director, Shahla Tavakolnia.
